Funding Interests

As a family foundation,The White Family Foundation funds a broad range of organizations, reflecting the diverse interests of the White Family and the individual trustees. It is the Foundation's purpose to make positive changes to people’s lives, while building and enhancing the community in which they live. The majority of grants are made in support of qualified educational, health care and religious needs of organizations in West Central Florida.

The Board of Trustees considers grant requests bi-annually from qualified non-profit organizations. Initial grant requests should be made by completing the online application through this website. If you are approved for further consideration, please be prepared to provide the Foundation office with a detailed explanation of how the grant will be used as well as a copy of your organization's current 501 (c) (3) determination letter from the IRS. Preference is given to organizations whose annual budget is less than $3,000,000. Organizations are asked to apply for consideration only once during the calendar year. The Trustees strongly encourage partnerships between charities and organizations. We look forward to the possibility of partnering with your organization!

Grant Proposal Submission Deadlines (post-marked by):

First Half of 2010: May 1, 2010 -- disbursements to be made after July 1, 2010

Second Half of 2010: October 1, 2010 -- disbursements to be made by December 31, 2010
